So test number one, when we come over here to this channel, Jonah Health and Fitness, and we scroll all the way down, so you're going to observe that this channel has been bagging views between 1,000 views right here. You can see 713 views right here. And you can see 931 views right here. But currently you can see it right on my screen the videos on this channel is now making 22 views, 24 views, 25 uh 29 views, 43 views. So this is a very obvious reason to show that this channel is actually under a shadow band. All right. And then test number two right here, you're going to see that there's a channel like um this right here on my screen, TBC broadcast. But then if you move over to YouTube and try to search for this channel right here, I type that right in there and I hit enter. And then it's YouTube is actually supposed to bring up this channel right here on my search. But like you can see it right on my screen scrolling all the way down. You are not going to see any search result from YouTube actually displaying this channel name. Right? So this is the obvious reason that this channel is under a shadow ban. All right, so welcome back to the channel. If you're a returning viewer, you're the real OG. And if you are just seeing me here for the first time on this channel, my name is Frank and I make videos around social media growth and monetization. So if this is what interests you, I want you to go ahead and hit the red subscribe button and turn on bell notification so that whenever we get to upload amazing content just like this one you're watching right now, you're going to be the first to be notified by YouTube and obviously be the first to take advantage of the video. All right, don't forget to like this video to help the videos algorithm so that YouTube can actually show this video in front of as much viewers as possible. And also don't forget to drop me a comment down below. Let me know if you've been in shadowban and how you actually um scale through that period. Okay, so guys that being said, let's dive back right in into the video. Right, so one may ask, so what are the common causes of shadow ban on YouTube? All right. So, I'm going to like highlight two most common causes of shadow ban that is very common among small creators. All right. And number one on my list is actually spamming. All right. So, spamming is a term that actually consists of a lot of activities and I I'm just going to highlight a few activities that is common among creators. Number one is so for all right. So we have small creators right now, okay, trying to gain subscribers and and how they go about getting the subscribers is actually subscribing to one another's channel. You know, I subscribe to yours and you subscribe to mine. And this is one very act that YouTube hates so much. So what YouTube does is when they notice that such activities is actually going on on your channel, they actually place a shadow bag on your channel. And before I forget, shadowban is as bad as the fact that when you're under shadow ban, when your channel is being shadowbanned by YouTube, you are not going to be notified in any way that your channel is under a shadowban. And that's what makes shadowban very bad and you want to avoid this by all means. All right, so going forward, another thing that creators do that looks spammy to YouTube, which actually makes YouTube shadowban them, is actually buying subscribers and viewers. So once YouTube tracks that your subscribers actually coming from a particular website okay where they where people actually go to gain subscribers okay inorganically this also another very big act that YouTube hates so much. So once YouTube finds this all right they tend to put your channel under a shadow ban. There are other activities on YouTube that actually shows that you are actually spamming and which is which will actually push YouTube to actually shadowban your channel. So I'm going to drop a link in the description section where you can actually read more about spamming. Okay. And then the third thing being done by young creators that shows that they actually spamming the YouTube platform is actually going to the comment section of other creators to do sub for sub. Okay, which is like similar to what I had mentioned before. And this is one act that YouTube hates so much. And the bad thing about this sub for sub is that once you are able to gather let's say 50 subscribers and after a period of time, what YouTube does is YouTube is actually going to deduct the subscribers from your list of subscribers. And the bad and the worst part of it is that let's say you succeeded to add 50 subscribers to your channel in a day. And once YouTube wants to deduct the subscribers, they're actually going to deduct more than 50. So you gather 50 and YouTube may actually go ahead to deduct 60. So you find out that YouTube has actually gone ahead to deduct even your organic subscribers that you already got originally. So that is why you really need to desist from this ad if you're watching me right now and you are actually doing this. All right. So the second on my list of um the causes of shadow ban on YouTube channel is actually YouTube strikes, right? A strike is actually issued from YouTube to YouTube creators when you actually violate the YouTube policies. All right, I'm also going to drop a link in the description where you can go ahead and read for yourself all the YouTube policies you actually need to know so that you can stay on track and avoid shadow ban. So once you violate YouTube policies, YouTube will likely shadow ban your channel. So the reasons that YouTube can actually give you a strike is number one, you are making um inauthentic content or repetitious content and then number two, you're actually making content that poses a threat to other brands on YouTube. And number three could actually be a copyright. If YouTube actually notice you do this, what happens is they're actually going to give you a strike. All right, they're actually going to give you a strike and this strike do last for a period of 90 days, which is very bad. Okay, so to get a strike on a channel is the worst thing that can actually happen to a creator and you do not want this to happen to you, right? So that being said, let's dive right into how you can actually clear up shadowban on your channel. All right. So, from what I just mentioned earlier, you should be able to um you should be able to know why your channel is under a shadow ban if you have been following me up um step by step. Okay? So, if you have been shadowbanned because of spamming, you've been doing so for sub in the comment section. You've been buying both follow subscribers and views. So, you have to actually dease from this activity for a period of 28 to 30 days. So afterwards, YouTube is going to reinstate your channel and then you start getting views and you start getting YouTube recommendations. And number two, if you were actually stried, okay, because of YouTube policies violation. So what you have to do is you come over here to YouTube community guideline strike basics on YouTube. So you're going to see right here that after the one week period, you restore full privileges automatically, but the strike remains on your channel for 90 days. So therefore means whenever you get a strike from YouTube certain privileges are being withheld from you. Privileges like recommendations okay YouTube is actually going to stop or limit recommending your videos to other people and that's the more reason you're going to be having low views and you don't want this right. But then YouTube is saying after a period of 1 week those privileges such as recommendation is are are all going to be restored though it may not be restored fully until the period of 90 days and this is not what you want from your on your channel. So you want to try as much as possible to stay safe and try not to get a strike on YouTube. So, in case of a copyright strike, all you need to do is come over to your YouTube studio right here, like you can see on my screen, and then go to copyright right here. And then when you click on copyright, you're going to see that um this is my channel right here. So, I actually have no copyright. Okay? So, in case this channel has a copyright and this copyright actually came from a brand on YouTube, all right, that actually claimed this right on my video, it's actually going to appear here. All right? Or under this removal request right here. And I'm going to go ahead and either take down the video or I appeal to YouTube, you know, trying to prove to YouTube that this video has no, you know, direct rights on the person who actually um le this claim. All right? So, like you can see right here, there is no copyright claim whatsoever on this channel. Okay? So you can actually go through this video from the top to actually follow the video step by step and then compare whatever I'm actually teaching on this video with your channel to come to to confirm that your channel is actually shadowbanned or not under a shadow band. And if your channel is shadow banned like I said in my way of recapitulation just go ahead in case of spamming and stop those activities for a period of 28 to 30 days and YouTube is actually going to reinstate every privileges to you. And then for stripes after one week YouTube is actually going to still reinstate some privileges to you but some will be up after a period of 90 days. Yes, as long as 90 days. The more reason you need to stay safe. All right. So, if you actually found value in this video, go ahead and smash the red subscribe button and turn on bell notifications so that whenever we get to upload amazing content just like this, you'll be the first to be notified by YouTube and obviously be the first to take advantage of the video. And don't forget to give this video a like and I will see you in my next video. Basing on.
